Opportunities

There are several opportunities available to youth besides the Saline County 4-H Shoot. There are great benefits associated with participating in these various events. It is strongly encouraged for youth and parents to consider these opportunities.

Missouri 4-H Shooting Sports State Shoot

This annual shoot is a great experience, so county participants are encouraged to participate if they are eligible. Registration opens in July through 4H Online.

National 4-H Shooting Sports Competition 

Individuals must be 14 years old as of January 1 to qualify for a state team to be eligible to compete at the event.

Individuals must be in good standing at the county level to participate in this conference.

Missouri 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador Program

Youth ages 14 and older are selected through an application process to represent Missouri 4-H Shooting Sports on a county, regional, state and national level.
